**Process Optimization Lead**


This role involves technical leadership and strategic productivity solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency. As a Process Optimization Lead, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve productivity using different tools and techniques such as DMAIC, SMED, GSTD, VMS.

You will provide technical advice and troubleshooting support on materials, processes, equipment & consumer complaints to the factory. Additionally, you will coach employees to fulfill and exceed job requirements through problem-solving tools like GSTD, DMAIC.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a solution-focused attitude. They must be methodical, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building. This is a challenging role that requires proactive problem-solving and sustainable solutions to address business needs and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance on process optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Lead employee coaching and development in problem-solving tools.
  • ID opportunities for productivity improvement using various tools and techniques.
  • Conduct capability studies to ensure optimal production rates and parameters.
  • Develop and maintain system capacity to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Food Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing or processes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Relationship-building skills are essential.
