Operations Excellence Manager

This critical role plays a pivotal part in ensuring our inventory processes run seamlessly. As the Operations Excellence Manager, you will oversee the smooth flow of products in and out of the store, from receiving shipments to organizing the stockroom for maximum efficiency.

You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and streamlining operations. Your keen eye for detail will help identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize stock levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the stockroom operations, ensuring a well-organized, efficient workspace that supports a seamless customer experience.
  • Overseeing the movement of all inventory, including receiving, processing, and ensuring products are prepped for the sales floor in a timely manner.
  • Managing stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy and reducing discrepancies.
  • Tracking and reporting on inventory performance, identifying trends, analyzing data, and collaborating with the leadership team to optimize stock levels.
  • Designing and managing the stockroom layout to maximize efficiency and create an organized, safe, and functional environment for the team.
  • Partnering with the Store Leader to forecast inventory needs, monitor sell-through rates, and implement action plans to improve stock performance.
  • Leading and coaching the team, ensuring adherence to standards and fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in operations or inventory management, with a focus on stockroom processes.
  • A passion for organization and creating efficient systems to optimize inventory flow.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, constantly analyzing inventory reports to ensure stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • A natural leader who thrives on coaching and developing a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams to meet business needs.
  • Proactive attitude, prioritizing tasks and maintaining smooth operations even during busy periods.
