Senior Mental Health Liaison

Mental health care should be empowering, not a barrier. Our Senior Mental Health Liaison leads the way, ensuring every inquiry, referral and admission is handled with care and precision.

You'll be the first point of contact for patients, families and referrers alike. Your role is to listen, guide and provide reassurance to people at vulnerable points in their journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team to provide warm, clinically sound support across referrals, admissions and waitlist management
  • Conduct and oversee mental health assessments, ensuring patients are safely and appropriately matched to care
  • Build nurturing partnerships with patients, families and carers – guiding them through complex funding, consent and admission steps
  • Act as a key liaison for healthcare professionals – ensuring timely, transparent communication and professional partnerships
  • Shape and refine intake systems, data quality and digital workflows (CRM and electronic medical records)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards while embedding a culture of care, equity and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Current registration and qualifications as a mental health clinician (psychiatry, psychology, nursing, social work or occupational therapy)
  • Experience in intake, triage or admissions within a hospital or mental health setting
  • Commitment to industry standards and patient-centred practice
  • Leadership capability – able to coach, mentor and build a high-functioning team
  • Warm, professional communication that balances clinical oversight with empathy and strong leadership
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage referrals, admissions and reporting efficiently
  • A belief that every patient deserves clear, timely and respectful support
Culture and Values:
  • Empower– Patients are the heroes of their story. We're here to guide and empower them on their journey.
  • Care– Everything we do, we do with care. From patients to colleagues, we put our hearts into it.
  • Innovate– We're reinventing mental health care with state-of-the-art treatments and technologies.

When you join us, you're not just stepping into a role – you're becoming part of a team that lives these values every day.

  • Collaborative, clinician-led care across multiple locations
  • Expansion opportunities – with scope to shape systems and pathways
  • Purpose-built facilities with a digital-first approach
  • A team that genuinely supports personal and professional growth
