Audit Leadership Opportunity

Are you an experienced audit professional looking for a challenging leadership role? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior Manager to lead audits for mid-size clients, developing actionable growth recommendations and delivering high-quality audit reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing effective audit objectives and managing teams of auditors to complete a comprehensive audit process
  • Identifying and reporting on client financial risks with regard to external financial reporting requirements
  • Executing and delivering on a variety of external audit client engagements in a timely and methodical manner
  • Preparing high-quality audit reports and related documentation
  • Managing and mentoring team members on each project engagement team to continually develop the team's skills and experience
  • Building successful relationships with clients by being proactive in challenges and adaptable in multitasking across competing priorities
  • Researching complex audit technical issues and providing expert advice to our clients
  • Working closely with internal teams and clients to identify business development opportunities that add value to our clients' businesses
  • Requirements:
  • Previous audit experience in a professional services firm with strong industry knowledge
  • CA qualified or hold similar relevant overseas qualification
  • Strong communication and consultation skills enabling direct and effective dealings with senior stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills - ability to manage competing priorities effectively and deliver engagements on time
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to provide effective solutions for clients and mitigate risk
  • Collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders from junior staff to Partners
  • Excellent business development skills to build strong relationships and identify opportunities in clients' businesses
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, Australian Auditing Standards and ASX Listing Rules would be advantageous
