Senior Manager Opportunity

Grant Thornton is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Audit practice in Adelaide. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive efficient and effective audit processes, mentoring a team and delivering value to mid-size clients.

The ideal candidate will have previous audit experience in a professional services firm, with a strong background in project management and problem-solving skills. They will also possess excellent communication and consultation skills, with the ability to interact directly with owners, CEOs, CFOs, and other stakeholders.

  • Establish and manage audit objectives and teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Identify and report on client financial risks relevant to external financial reporting requirements.
  • Execute and deliver a variety of external audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare and present detailed audit reports and related documentation.
  • Mentor and develop team members on each project engagement, promoting growth and skill development.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a proactive attitude and ability to multitask across competing priorities.
Requirements
  • CA qualification or similar overseas qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Australian Auditing Standards, ASX Listing Rules, and Corporations Act requirements.
  • Excellent business development skills, with the ability to build relationships and identify opportunities in clients' businesses.
