About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Associate Principal Environmental Approvals Consultant to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, or Tasmania. As a key member of our environmental team, you will provide expertise, leadership, and strategic advice to clients in the water and environment field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on environmental investigations, assessments, planning, and approvals
  • Develop and implement environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals for coastal and maritime infrastructure projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth and development
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental projects
  • Contribute to thought leadership activities through authoring papers, presenting at events, and social media posts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or a related field
  • More than 7 years' experience in environmental consulting, with a strong background in environmental approvals and assessments
  • Demonstrated experience in State and Commonwealth environmental approvals regimes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Business development skills, with experience working in a multi-site organization
