About the Role:
Marsh is seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Advisor to join our team in the Sydney office. As a Senior Claims Advisor, you will be responsible for handling specialist financial lines claims, providing high-quality technical advice and support to clients, and driving the settlement negotiation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle specialist financial lines claims, ensuring the client's best interests are always protected.
- Provide technical advice to clients and brokers on policy coverage and interpretation.
- Drive the settlement negotiation process and negotiate on behalf of the client.
- Act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, demonstrating value and driving results.
- Manage external providers and interface with panel solicitors, loss adjusters, and investigators as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of financial lines claims handling experience.
- Good oral communication and sophisticated written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and insurers.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Demonstrate a practical commercial and good business sense.
