Business Capability Lead Role

At the heart of our organization's success lies a capable leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Business Capability Lead to drive business outcomes and deliver improved customer experiences.

As a Business Capability Lead, you will possess:

  • Technical Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the business and technology platforms, including features, functionalities, and limitations.
  • Process Expertise: Extensive technical and process expertise in supporting business units, with a strong understanding of IT landscapes, SEO interlocks, and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams, build consensus, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Agile Certification: Agile certification (SAFe) and proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Business Acumen: Excellent business acumen, customer focus, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Capability Lead will be responsible for:

  • Identifying necessary business capabilities for program objectives and decomposing high-level business initiatives into smaller work items.
  • Prioritizing capabilities based on strategic importance, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Ensuring solutions align with digital transformation goals and seeking endorsement/sign-off.
  • Providing input to roadmaps outlining the sequence of activities to develop and deploy capabilities, including timelines and resource requirements.
  • Oversight of capability development to required quality standards and within budget and timelines.
  • Ensuring acceptance criteria for solutions are defined, business acceptance plans are established, and businesses complete transitions into new platforms.
