This critical position will play a pivotal role in the execution of our Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy.
About the Position- Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and embedding robust safety procedures and compliance frameworks to mitigate workplace risks.
- Designing engaging health and wellbeing training programs to foster a culture of safety and empowerment.
- Investigating incidents, providing coaching and guidance to managers on corrective actions.
- Coordinating proactive wellbeing initiatives, return-to-work programs, and workers compensation claims.
- Supporting volunteer safety roles (e.g., Emergency Wardens, First Aid Officers, HSRs).
- Liaising with stakeholders to enhance physical and mental health through audits, communications, and wellbeing programs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles, excellent communication skills, and experience in investigations, risk management, and safety systems. They should be passionate about creating a work environment that prioritises employee safety and wellbeing.
