Job Description

The Workplace Health and Safety Professional will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of a proactive, people-centred approach to health, safety, and wellbeing across the organisation.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert guidance on Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) matters, cultivate a culture of safety, inclusion, and wellbeing at every level, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, support regulatory compliance, and lead innovative initiatives that drive meaningful impact.
  • Collaborate with teams across all business units to drive positive change in workplace safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Risk Management is essential, along with demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders and build awareness, capability, and engagement around safety.
  • Ability to establish a sustainable, ingrained positive safety culture and drive professional growth and development within the team.
