We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Boarding Supervisor. This role is pivotal in the lives of our young people, providing student pastoral support, ensuring safety, fostering welfare, managing behaviour, and facilitating personal development.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Boarding to oversee the daily operations of the boarding house, including supervising students during activities and outings, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and promoting a sense of community among residents.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Tutoring, nursing, youth work or residential care experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collegially in a team environment
- Demonstrate personal maturity and a warm and welcoming manner
- A current CPR, First Aid and Duty of Care Certificate or be willing to obtain these credentials
- A current LR bus licence or willingness to obtain within one month of employment
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
- Dependent on the role and successful applicant, residential accommodation within the boarding precinct, inclusive of utilities may be offered
- Boarding Supervisors are entitled to meals in the dining room during their rostered shifts
