Position Overview
As a Chef de Partie at Holiday Inn, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experiences through your culinary expertise. Supporting Ivy & Jack, Conference and Events, and Room Service, your dedication to presentation and flavor will ensure that each guest leaves with lasting memories.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in your workspace.
- Utilize your culinary skills to produce a diverse range of quality dishes.
- Adhere to hygiene and food safety protocols to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other departments to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen team members, fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Commercial Cookery qualification.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of culinary experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Effective time management skills.
- Experience in supervising a small team.
- Knowledge of HACCP procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Legal eligibility to work in Australia without restrictions.
