Job Opportunity: Contract and Agreement Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Contract and Agreement Specialist.
The successful candidate will work closely with management to identify areas where contracts can be improved or modified, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts that meet legal standards
- Establishing contract terms and conditions, including service levels and financial obligations
- Liaising with external legal practitioners and other departments to ensure compliance and timely completion of contractual obligations
- Providing expert advice on contract analysis and management
- Reviewing and revising contracts as needed, including preparing documents for tender and negotiation of legal agreements
- Monitoring and advising on compliance with contractual obligations
Regular day-to-day activities for this role include:
- Updating contract management software and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating with suppliers, customers, and external parties to arrange contracts and facilitate negotiations
- Sourcing, reviewing, and revising documentation as required by business operations
- Drafting or revising legal agreements to meet business needs
- Communicating with external organizations regarding changes to contractual obligations
- Performing other administrative tasks as necessary
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum diploma or equivalent experience
- A minimum 2 years full-time experience in contract administration
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal requirements
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
