Senior Contracts Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Contracts Specialist to join our commercial team. This key role will be responsible for managing variations, procurement submissions, and assisting with financial and accounting records.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and deadlines, guaranteeing seamless project execution.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Follow up on outstanding paperwork and drive the team to meet financial reporting deadlines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and coordinate insurance claims as needed, minimizing disruptions and maximizing recoveries.
  • Track costs for financial reporting purposes, providing valuable insights and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in contracts administration.
  • A degree in Business Management, Law, or related disciplines is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in contractual matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contracts, project costing, and accounting, showcasing a deep understanding of financial management.
  • Prior experience in a civil engineering company is highly regarded, highlighting adaptability and transferable skills.
