Technical Program Manager - Software Assurance

The Oracle Software Assurance organization is a world-class team of high-caliber application security researchers, analysts, software engineers, and site reliability engineers who thrive on new challenges. The Software Assurance organization has the mission to make application security and software assurance, at scale, a reality. We are a dedicated team, leveraging each other's insights and abilities to produce cutting-edge solutions to difficult problems through automation and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Program Manager - Software Assurance, you will be responsible for managing large-scale, global, big-impact programs, predominantly focusing on software assurance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be the integration point for software development, software assurance, and cloud infrastructure teams. You will have technical skills to follow conversations around mobile app software development, operating systems, or software development, and their intersection with software assurance needs. This role will be responsible for managing overall program and cross-functional teams, risks, issues, dependencies, and conflicting priorities to successful completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in program and project management.
  • 5+ years leading complex technical/engineering programs in the areas of Cloud or Mobile applications or Security Research.
  • Ability to manage all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience in managing cloud-based projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture minutes, and action items, and drive to-dos to completion.
  • Schedule awareness – ability to communicate priorities and sequence project work.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with different levels in the org.
  • Expertise with tools Jira, Confluence.
  • PMP or other Project/Program Management industry certification(s).
  • Cloud Certification(s) (OCI).
  • Eligibility to work in Australia without sponsorship.
