Quantitative Investment & ESG Policy Specialist

As a Quantitative Investment & ESG Policy Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development of a new quantitative financial model to assess the potential impacts of changes to ESG policies and legislation on the portfolio over the short and long term (30+ years).

This role will focus on researching and quantitatively analyzing public policy options, especially at the intersection of sustainability and unlisted investments, providing analysis and assisting in the provision of advice to the broader business including the investment team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing models to undertake scenario analysis, stress testing, and cost-benefit analysis etc. which will then be applied to a policy setting.
  • Conducting research, writing, and consultation in connection with ESG and public policy, with an emphasis on sustainability matters.
  • Organising and analysing quantitative information pertaining to sustainable investment and that will support internal and external policy.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in quantitative analysis, economics, investments, mathematics, or a related field. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

In addition to a strong technical skillset, successful candidates will be passionate about ESG and sustainability issues, and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact through their work.
