As a senior systems engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing the design and operation of water and wastewater infrastructure by applying rigorous systems engineering principles and practices. Your primary objective will be to improve the efficiency of project delivery, optimize system performance, and drive continuous improvement across assets.

Our water team supports projects that require technical expertise in design, system planning, and infrastructure investigation. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to business decisions and facilitate sustainable growth.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Implementing structured systems engineering methodologies to optimize project design, integration, and lifecycle management.
  2. Developing and refining engineering processes to enhance project execution, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines.
  3. Identifying and implementing strategies to embed systems engineering processes in the project lifecycle and support team adoption of these practices.
  4. Utilizing data analytics and system modeling tools to inform design decisions, optimize asset performance, and improve operational efficiencies.

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to deliver results, including:

  1. Demonstrating experience in applying systems engineering principles to complex infrastructure or utility projects.
  2. Proven analytical skills with experience in data-driven problem-solving.
