Strategic Business Leader

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to a combined national portfolio across various sectors.
- Develop and implement segment strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in key clients and segments.
- Lead matrix coordination and tackle customer concerns within the segment to secure alignment and execution.
- Align the people strategy to business outcomes: goal setting and performance management, colleague engagement, talent and succession, remuneration, and development planning.
- Operational excellence: ensure robust governance, risk management and regulatory compliance; drive efficiencies and digital transformation using advanced tools.
- Transformation and change: embed a growth mindset, innovation, continuous improvement and customer-centricity across the enterprise.
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial bias for action with a strong commercial competence and high personal motivation and work ethic.
- Show strong influencing and negotiation skills with advanced partner management across clients, markets and internal leaders.
- Possess background in specialty insurance or adjacent financial/professional services leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Hold Tier 1 broking compliance (PS146) or demonstrate ability to obtain within agreed timeframes.
