Strategic Business Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our business advisory team in a full-time capacity.

As a Strategic Business Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's success and have the opportunity to shape your career pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture high-performing teams, overseeing their growth and progression.
  • Manage a diverse range of clients, including client relationship management, workflow forecasting, ATO lodgement, and ATO debt management.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to drive business growth and deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for the business and our clients.
  • Manage and assist with compliance and advisory/consulting engagements, including tax compliance, cash flow forecasting, business acquisition/sale, and specialist tax advice.
  • Provide genuine business advisory services by assisting clients build their business and participating in advisory boards.
  • Mitigate risk and develop strategies to minimize tax on engagements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of public practice accounting experience.
  • Degree qualification and CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Strong technical proficiency in tax and consulting/modeling engagements, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting.
  • Strong compliance experience, with exposure to the property & construction industry an advantage.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong Xero skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior & senior accountants.
  • Excellent knowledge of taxation legislation.
  • Exposure to international tax an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A great attitude and a hunger to learn.
