About Our Client

As a key player in our supply chain, you'll have the opportunity to lead the procurement process of packaging materials of all goods for retail - through Finished Goods suppliers or directly.

Additionally, you will also be leading the procurement of packaging for Point of sales (displays). On your category, you will be building and driving category procurement strategy, bringing the best value to cost on the products, responsible for the appropriate supplier selection to deliver qualitative products at the right margin with full ownership of price we purchase at, securing the commercial and legal conditions.

Product Category - Packaging for Beauty Products

Covering multiple packaging technologies (plastic, glass, print, pumps & closures) plus indirect packaging (Points of sales displays, collateral materials)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement strategy for packaging materials, ensuring the highest quality standards while optimising costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers worldwide to source innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that align with our brand values.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between production, design, and marketing departments.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulations to maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement within the cosmetics or FMCG industry, with a focus on packaging materials.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build strategic partnerships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to implementing eco-friendly packaging solutions.
  • Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
