Job Description

The role of a Wholesale Account Manager VIC/TAS is pivotal in representing our wholesale brands to travel agents and driving sales revenue. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, maintaining regular contact with assigned stores, and upholding an in-depth knowledge of our products and services.

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to support business growth for an assigned region of stores.
  • Maintaining regular face-to-face and remote contact with an assigned region of stores to ensure ongoing achievement of designated sales target levels.
  • Maintaining and developing a thorough knowledge of all wholesale products and services.
  • Agreeing with regional managers to deliver sales growth.
  • Maintaining CRM/Sales Tracker and accurately reporting on activity weekly.
  • Analysing and interpreting sales data to inform sales growth activity.
  • Representing our wholesale brand at industry functions and events.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a field sales capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales role, either in a front-line sales capacity within an agency or selling products and services to the travel agency community.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders, including travel agents, owners, and preferred partners.
  • Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely.
