Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Program Coordinator to join our team in Geelong, VIC. As a key member of our Support Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

About the Role

This is a Fixed-Term (until July 2025), full-time position that requires a strong passion for working with complex clients and a commitment to providing person-centered services. You will work closely with our Team Leader and Manager to develop and implement case plans, provide support and guidance to clients, and facilitate programs to help them achieve their goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify needs and develop individual case plans;
  • Collaborate with clients to create holistic and solutions-focused plans that address their strengths and challenges;
  • Develop and implement housing plans to assist clients in making informed decisions about their accommodation needs;
  • Facilitate an Accommodation Living Skills Program to help clients develop essential skills for independent living;
  • Provide regular reports to the Team Leader and Manager on client progress and program outcomes.
About You
  • You hold a Social Work qualification or other relevant social tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in a related field;
  • You possess a current and valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check and a current Victorian Driver licence;
  • You have experience and resilience in working with complex clients presenting with challenging behaviors;
  • You are able to encourage and cooperate with others to achieve common goals.
