Tuckers Funeral & Bereavement Service, part of InvoCare, is a leading funeral industry provider with over 300 locations, 17 cemeteries, and 29 crematoria across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. We offer a comprehensive range of services to support families during their time of need.



About the Role

As a Senior Funeral Consultant, you will be working on a full-time basis to provide exceptional service to families. This role requires a caring and understanding nature, as well as well-developed skills to handle sensitive situations involving grieving individuals.



Key Responsibilities


  • Meet with families to discuss their options and provide guidance on funeral services
  • Be involved in all aspects of service delivery, from planning to execution
  • Develop a deep understanding of grief and loss to provide empathetic support
  • Align our service offering with the needs of families to ensure a personalized experience
  • Assist in setting up, coordinating, and conducting funeral services
  • Drive company vehicles as required
  • Oversee operations throughout the arrangement process and on the day of the funeral
  • Perform general administration duties and provide support to the branch team
  • Participate in an on-call and after-hours roster, including weekends
  • Strive for a balance of sensitivity and efficiency in your daily work


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • A current, unrestricted driver's license
  • A community-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail for coordinating paperwork and legal documentation
