Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team in Brisbane and Central Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Contract Administrator and Commercial Manager in implementing commercial strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist with tender preparation, evaluation, and recommendation, consistent with the procurement strategy.
  • Implement effective cost controls during delivery, including material registers, docket registers, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence and notices as necessary, for review by the Commercial Manager.
  • Manage accurate records through regular maintenance of delay, variation, and claim registers.
  • Contribute to drafting contract documentation during procurement, including scopes of work in conjunction with Project Engineers.
  • Quantify and assess variations, ensuring consistency with subcontract terms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar tertiary qualification.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in a similar contracts administrator role.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and project control applications.
  • Ability to quantify construction works at various project stages.
  • Good knowledge of construction law and related contracts.
  • High levels of verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
