We are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and decommissioning infrastructure, including physical, virtual, networking, and cloud systems that underpin our digital services.

Responsibilities:">
  • Implement, manage, and decommission infrastructure including physical, virtual, networking, and cloud systems that underpin digital services.
  • Provide specialist advice on the management and maintenance of ICT platforms.
  • Collaborate with key third-party suppliers to ensure the delivery of a reliable and resilient gateway infrastructure.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of daily technical operations by engaging with architecture and shared services teams.
Requirements:">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least five years' demonstrated experience in the design, management, and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large scale data centre networking environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, nexus switches, routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.

  • A security clearance will be required for the role.
  • Be willing to work at the RFQ location for the duration of the contract.
