Job Description:

About the Role:

  • Project Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of assigned project deliverables to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Effectively allocate resources and manage day-to-day project activities to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Progress Monitoring and Risk Mitigation: Monitor progress, identify and escalate risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Document Development and Reporting: Develop project documentation and reports to required standards, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is presented to stakeholders.
  • Project Governance and Scheduling: Maintain project governance and scheduling to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, representing the agency in various forums to build relationships and drive business outcomes.
  • Analysis and Policy Contribution: Provide analysis on complex issues and contribute to policy and project coordination to drive change and business improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and develop team members, fostering a culture of career growth and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience managing similar-sized projects within the past 3 years, with a strong understanding of multiple project delivery methodologies.
  • Skills and Qualifications: A proactive and collaborative leader with strong communication skills, commitment to public service values, and analytical skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Citizenship and Security Clearance: Australian Citizenship and Baseline security clearance are mandatory requirements for this position.
