About Our Role

We are seeking an accomplished Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating indirect purchases with site teams, purchasing teams, and suppliers. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and budgets, identifying vendors, and placing purchasing requisitions through online platforms.

You will also be responsible for expediting orders, maintaining records of purchases, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages. Additionally, you will be required to receipt goods and track specific KPIs related to site purchasing to facilitate effective project cost control.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, leveraging your administrative skills and experience in site purchasing administration for large construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate indirect purchases with site teams, purchasing teams, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and budgets

  • Expedite orders and maintain records of purchases
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages
  • Receipt goods and track specific KPIs related to site purchasing

Requirements:

  • Office administration certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in site purchasing administration for large construction projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Fully computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
