Job Title: Power Generation Specialist

At the forefront of the energy transition, we're playing a key role in the world's shift from traditional energy sources to decarbonized solutions.

The Power Generation Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining gas fields, gas plants, and power plants at our Wingfield Landfill Gas Power Station.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate gas fueled power plant, 1000kW spark ignition engines, and all associated power generation equipment;
Perform regular inspection and maintenance of fixed plant, engines, gas fields, and associated equipment;
Undertake electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and reporting;
Monitor the process to ensure optimum output;
Carry out routine housekeeping duties;
Utilize the Maintenance Management and Quality Assurance Systems as part of the daily functions.

Requirements:

Experience in maintaining, fault finding, and operating power generation equipment;
Electrical license (essential);
First Aid certificate desirable;
Current drivers license is essential;
Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting, High voltage electrical, Gas engine experience advantageous.
