The Role- Job Description: We are seeking a Mid to Senior or Principal level Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead a Mechanical project design team, engineers and draftspersons to carry out multiple projects.
- Provide expert technical advice on mechanical design (piping and structural steel) from inception through to project completion.
- Responsible for the detail design of all mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Support tender processes and provide basic estimate support.
- Procure materials and equipment.
- Customer, contractor and supplier liaison.
- Provide support to testing and commissioning activities.
A degree qualification in mechanical engineering or mechatronic engineering, combined with Senior/Principal level of mechanical engineering experience with CPEng certification and a strong track record of industrial, heavy industry, power generation or similar experience.
Natural initiative and problem-solving abilities, Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a valid driver's license.
