Family Support Specialist

As a leader in our community, you will be guiding a team to support individuals and families navigate complex systems, overcome barriers and work towards improving their overall well-being.
About the RoleThis role is part of a collaborative partnership aimed at delivering high-quality services. You will be responsible for making strategic decisions within the program's day-to-day operations and ensuring service users are supported through trauma-informed practice along with person-centered and strengths-based strategies.
You will also manage incident response, facilitate effective triage processes and record regular supervision. As a team leader, you will provide ongoing coaching and support, driving a values-based culture.
About YouKey requirements include a passion for working with vulnerable populations and the ability to lead and support a team in delivering client-focused services.
- A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated specialist knowledge and experience in trauma-informed practice.
- Experience coaching, mentoring and developing a team ideally in a multidisciplinary service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and liaise in an informative and positive manner.
- Experience in service coordination and team leadership with a focus on building a strong team culture.
- A driver's license.
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- A National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months).
