Retail expertise is at the heart of our operations, and we're seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Lead to drive excellence in site management.

About the Role

As part of our high-performing team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of our distribution center. You'll lead proactive maintenance strategies across site infrastructure, equipment, and utilities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to optimize site performance.
  • Champion a strong safety culture by leading programs, audits, training, and incident management.
  • Manage resources and contractors, including inventory, site upkeep, utilities, and service provider performance.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle management, from documentation and inspections to preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Lead a capable, engaged, and high-performing team, while being hands-on with maintenance where required.
  • Report on safety and maintenance performance, delivering insights and trends to stakeholders.
Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management within a complex operational environment.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.
• Proven capability in project planning, resource coordination, and prioritization under pressure.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, and service level agreements.
• Effective people leadership with a focus on team engagement and capability development.
• Clear communication and strong reporting skills.
• Familiarity with digital safety systems and site operational safety plans.
