Disability Support Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred support to clients in their homes and communities. This involves encouraging clients to participate in activities aligned with their hobbies, interests, and goals within their NDIS plans.

This role is highly rewarding as you contribute significantly to clients' journeys towards independence and self-fulfillment.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Supporting clients in developing skills, independence, and friendships
  • Encouraging clients to participate in activities that align with their hobbies, interests, and goals
  • Providing person-centred support in clients' homes and communities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting others in the disability sector
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Right to work in Australia
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check or willingness to obtain it
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certifications

Highly Regarded Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in disability support
  • Auslan skills or willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations and environments with diverse clients
