Job Overview

The Claims Officer role involves managing Latent & Special Risk claims on a permanent full-time basis.

  • Effective management of the claims process, resulting in accurate completion and validation of claims
  • Policy interpretation and coverage determination to ensure seamless claims handling
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, brokers, investigators, solicitors, and the public
  • Compliance with relevant statutory guidelines and standards
  • Initiation and completion of recoveries from third parties
  • Regular self-audit of claims files to ensure positive internal audits
  • Timely and professional response to client enquiries within Privacy guidelines

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical claims experience and expertise in managing complex Latent & Special Risk claims, as well as a proven understanding of underwriting procedures and policy wordings across diversified liability portfolios.
