### Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Admission Secretary to join our Patient Admission team working in our Day Surgery & Minor Procedures Unit.

### Key Responsibilities

* Deliver a superior level of customer service to patients, visitors, and internal clients
* Address patient and doctor inquiries
* Handle all administrative tasks related to patient admissions and discharges

### Requirements

* Well-presented individual with highly developed communication skills
* Flexible and able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain good working relations with others
* High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
* Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Proven organisational skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
* Previous experience in booking medical/surgical admissions and procedures is highly desirable
