We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an After Hours Hospital Coordinator at Pine Rivers Private Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards in an after-hours setting.
- Support and liaise with Visiting Medical Officers, Hospital Executive, and Nurse Unit Managers to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost-efficiently, while maintaining a high level of patient care.
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Oversee the safety of all patients and hospital staff, providing a secure environment for everyone.
- Provide overarching management to the hospital after hours, ensuring continuity of care.
- 5 years of Registered Nursing experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Recent inpatient mental health management experience at ANUM level or higher, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated experience in staff coordination and allocation, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- People leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members, with a focus on development and growth.
- Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios, with a focus on delivering results.
- Post Graduate Qualification in a mental health related discipline or management, with a focus on advancing knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements, with a focus on compliance and best practice.
