Seeking an experienced Support Specialist to join our team in Brisbane.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for delivering high-level technical and product support. You will be based at our office in Wacol, Brisbane, and will take ownership of building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work activities are performed in a safe manner, adhering to relevant safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues promptly, conducting thorough failure and root cause analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing reliable solutions and meeting their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document and report fleet performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and autonomously, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements
  • Relevant mechanical trade or engineering qualifications.
  • Significant experience in open cut mining, civil earthworks, or related industries, preferably in engineering, maintenance leadership, or technical/product support roles.
  • Proven understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, schematics, drawings, and manual interpretation.
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve product and technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Experience with Hitachi Mining Equipment Excavators is highly regarded.
