Event Coordinator

The Star Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead and manage our events team, ensuring operational requirements for internal and external events are met and align with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the event implementation team, ensuring customer service, budgetary, and operational requirements are met.
- Maximise customer service and earnings potential for internal events through effective cost management and customer service execution.
- Manage the hospitality event team and work with external providers, venue managers, and The Star executives to ensure effective end-to-end execution of all events.
- Lead internal and external High-Profile VIP Events from start to finish.
- Manage events ranging from 12 to over 3000 guests.
- Minimum 10 years of event management experience, preferably in a casino, hotel, convention centre, banquet venue, or stadium.
- Understanding of laws related to the organisation, including Industrial Relations laws and OH&S laws.
- Delphi experience is essential.
- Valid RSA and understanding of NSW Liquor Licensing laws and regulations are essential.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings as required.
