About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Coordinator to join our team at The Star Entertainment Group. As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, conferences, and banquets to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and banquets from start to finish, ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Logistics: Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event-related services.
  • Budgeting: Manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and that costs are minimized.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring that the event runs smoothly and that the client is satisfied.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Certified Event Planner (CEP) or Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification preferred.
