Job Overview

This is a hands-on role that will suit someone with industry experience or mechanical background with a willingness to learn.

The role involves installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems, servicing and repairing of fire suppression systems, maintaining awareness to adhere with individual site health and safety policies, and liaising with internal staff effectively regarding any work changes and schedule updates.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on fire suppression systems
  • Identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Installation and Maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems
  • Servicing and Repairing of Fire Suppression Systems
  • Maintaining Awareness to Adhere with Individual Site Health and Safety Policies
  • Liaising with Internal Staff Effectively Regarding Any Work Changes and Schedule Updates

Qualifications/Ideal Candidate
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Understanding and Knowledge of Mining Machines
  • Electrical or Fire Experience Preferred
  • Able to Undergo Pre-Employment Medical
  • Fire Industry Knowledge or Basic Understanding
  • Sprinkler or Pump Experience Beneficial but Not Essential

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills as well as a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
