Psychological Services Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled psychological services professional to join our team at Lithgow Correctional Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth psychological assessments and deliver individual interventions
  • Facilitate group-based rehabilitation programs
  • Provide expert consultation to staff on mental health, trauma, and risk assessment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on behaviour support and case planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation in relevant systems and files
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and provide input to statutory bodies
  • Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and networking opportunities
Requirements
  • Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Strong interest in trauma-informed practice, cognitive impairment, or behaviour change
  • A robust ethical foundation and commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required
  • Specialist Psychologist applicants must meet additional experience/capabilities outlined in relevant award.
