Job Title: Head of Academic Leadership


About This Role

This role focuses on leveraging contemporary learning principles to drive academic excellence within the institution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers and curriculum specialists to design, implement, and review curriculum frameworks that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Talent Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of educators by providing coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to establish and achieve strategic goals, enhance institutional reputation, and foster strong community relationships.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying best practices, facilitating staff training, and driving the adoption of innovative technologies to improve teaching and learning.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Develop and implement comprehensive evaluation and assessment strategies to measure program effectiveness, student outcomes, and staff performance.

Requirements:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required; a master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in a senior management position.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams; knowledge of curriculum design and instructional strategies; familiarity with educational technology and data analysis tools.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as principal certification or advanced degrees in educational leadership.
