A major Defence initiative is underway to transform the way we conduct business.

The integration of ERP into Defence represents a once-in-a-generation change for the organisation.

Defence ERP will deliver real-time, integrated insights into critical information.

This will enable leaders and commanders across the Groups and Services to make informed decisions on the management and sustainment of Defence capabilities, underpinning preparedness and support to operations in a consistent manner.

We are seeking an ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Joint C4S Branch to assist with our transition to a new way of working.

Based in the Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computers Systems (JC4S) Branch Executive Team, the role will provide advice on ERP activities that support JC4S at the operational and strategic level in delivering JC4S Branch objectives.

The JC4S ERP SME will oversee the implementation of ERP across the JC4S Branch.

About Our Role:

The Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computers Systems (JC4S) Branch integrates information technologies to enhance combat effectiveness for the Australian Defence Force.

JC4S Branch acquires and sustains information technology for Australia's Defence Forces across the country and in operational theatres overseas.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong understanding in the implementation of Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), stakeholder engagement and communication, critical thinking, analytical and forecasting, flexibility, decision-making and time-management skills.

  • Oversight of ERP implementation across the JC4S Branch
