At Vanta, our mission is to earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously. Our goal is to empower businesses to practice better security and prove it with ease.

Vanta has a kind and talented team. While some have prior security experience, many have been successful without it. This role is based in Sydney and follows an office-centric hybrid schedule.

We are seeking a Channel leader to drive the execution of our channel strategy across both acquisition and partner management. Success will be measured by revenue and customer engagement targets related to partners' role in our customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive day-to-day execution of our Channel strategy
  • Lead a team in acquiring, activating and managing programs around hundreds of Vanta partners
  • Own onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction of partners, as well as satisfaction of customers as it relates to partner work
  • Deliver against monthly pipeline, revenue and engagement goals for partners
  • Redefine playbooks across roles to drive next iteration of our partner strategy
  • Mature the role and jobs-to-be-done of our channel development associates and channel managers
  • Work closely with leadership to define forward-looking strategy for evolution of Vanta's partner approach in APJ region
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Go-to-Market and Engineering & Product Development to refine and mature partner and partner/customer experience
  • Advance skills and careers of managers and individual contributors
  • Represent business and leadership team to customers

Requirements

  • Ability to leverage previous experience driving channel sales ideally within same product category
  • Rigorous command of key metrics of the business
  • Reliable, consistent forecasting
  • Mastery of coaching to value-based selling methodology (such as Command of the Message)
  • A high bar for inspection, evolution, and execution in the business
  • Succinct, concise, and compelling written and verbal communication
  • Impeccable cross-functional partnerships
  • Understanding of how to leverage GTM resources including Enablement and Revenue Operations to further the work of the team
  • Strong eye for talent, both in hiring and advancing careers of Vanta'ns
  • Independent operator, capable of leading a team in rapidly changing hyper growth environment
