Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Apprentice. This four-year apprenticeship program will provide you with hands-on training and guidance from experienced tradespeople, leading to a nationally accredited trade certificate.

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of mobile equipment through routine maintenance and quarterly inspections. You will learn under supervision and progress with your formal training requirements.

About the Role
  • Assist with inspecting and testing electrical systems and components
  • Assist with breakdowns and planned maintenance on loader automation systems
  • Diagnose faults and repair mobile plant air conditioning systems
  • Learn to diagnose faults in mobile mining equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs under supervision
  • Support the installation of wiring, lighting, and control systems
  • Maintain workshop housekeeping and safety standards
  • Attend TAFE and complete formal training requirements
  • Commit to maintaining health, safety, and security standards
About You

You should be a curious and hands-on individual with a genuine interest in automotive and mechanical repairs. You have completed or are completing year 12 and hold a current driver's license. You are eager to learn, work safely, and contribute to a team that values excellence and respect.
