Job Overview

As a key leader in our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our facilities management team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the strategic planning and delivery of site-wide facilities services, including HVAC, electrical, water, fire protection, and grounds maintenance.

With a strong background in electrical, mechanical, civil or industrial engineering, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering complex engineering outcomes on time and to budget. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will enable you to provide innovative solutions to problems and make high-level decisions on complex technical matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facilities department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of facilities services with other business units.
  • Manage budgets and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and efficient resource allocation.
  • Champion safety and compliance initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience in an industrial maintenance environment at a senior level.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of complex engineering systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and balance long-term planning with short-term operational oversight.
