Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Contracts and Procurement professional to play a critical leadership role within the Contracts Management function. This role is responsible for engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that contracted services are delivered in line with agreement terms, performance expectations and strategic objectives.

The role is accountable for the planning, development and implementation of significant procurements and contract management strategies that drive value for money, service quality and support SCH broader service delivery improvement initiatives. Working closely with directorates, this role seeks to maximise the value delivered from contractual arrangements, including service performance, quality and cost ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of procurement and contract management governance frameworks that aligns with the whole of government approach.
  • Provide high level recommendations and support to executives and contract managers for the successful delivery of significant and/or high value contracts.
  • Provide procurement and contract management knowledge and expertise in leading, planning, developing and implementing procurement and contract management governance and operational processes for significant contracts.
