Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a seasoned IT professional, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch support to our Federal Intelligence Agency contract.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer Windows and Linux workstations within hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot application functionality, performance, and crashes, utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administration to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Improve user experience by collaborating with external teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Resolve Tier 2 incidents for Linux and Windows applications, providing timely and effective support to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Provide remote end-user desktop support, leveraging your knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2012, and Server 2016 to deliver exceptional results.
  • Identify and resolve system incidents with short-term and long-term solutions, utilizing your problem-solving skills to drive business success.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse individuals and teams, using your interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and achieve common goals.
Required Skills:
  • 4-7 years of experience in Active Directory Administration, with a proven track record of successful implementation and management.
  • DNS, DHCP, DFS, and LDAP knowledge, ensuring expertise in network infrastructure and security.
  • Windows 10, Server 2012, and Server 2016 proficiency, allowing you to administer and manage complex systems with ease.
  • Application troubleshooting skills for Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, and Internet Explorer, enabling you to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Linux Operating System familiarity, allowing you to adapt to changing environments and technologies.
  • Understanding of Service Now, NETS, or other ticketing processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • ITIL v3 or higher certification, demonstrating your commitment to industry standards and best practices.
Desirable Skills:
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager knowledge, enabling you to streamline system management and maintenance.
  • PowerShell skills, allowing you to automate tasks and improve productivity.
  • Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix) understanding, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing IT landscape.
  • Profile management utilizing VMware User Experience Management toolset, enabling you to optimize user experience and reduce complexity.
  • Microsoft Exchange proficiency, allowing you to configure and manage email systems with ease.
  • Telephone/Video support skills, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
  • Networking knowledge, providing a solid foundation for administering and managing complex networks.
