**Job Title:** Technical Design Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and tracings using CAD systems, operating plotters and other output devices, and engaging in design preparation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Create accurate and detailed drawings and tracings using CAD commands and data entry methods.
- Operate plotters and other output devices to generate hard copies of drawing files.
- Prepare designs for PC board path layout, internal and external packaging, and control panel layouts.
- Maintain and update CAD files according to company guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical team members to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Apply changes and revisions to designs as directed by engineers or supervisors.
- Must be a US or Australian citizen.
- Minimum of a BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of technical drafting/design training or military training and 4 years of prior drafting experience.
- Experience managing similar projects of size, scope, and complexity.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
An active US Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Security Clearance is required for this role.
