Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to fill the role of Senior Technical Support Specialist.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows and Linux workstations on various environments.
  • Troubleshooting application functionality, crashes, and performance issues is also a key responsibility of this position.
  • This individual will investigate user performance and collaborate with external teams to improve user experience.
  • Additionally, they will assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications.
  • Providing remote end-user desktop support is an essential duty of this role.
  • This technical expert will identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Directory Administration.
  • DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP.
  • Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016.
  • Application Troubleshooting: Outlook, Excel, Word, Java, Internet Explorer.
  • Linux Operating System.
  • Understanding of Service Now, NETS, or other ticketing processes.
  • ITIL v3 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • PowerShell.
  • Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix).
  • Profile Management using the VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset.
  • Microsoft Exchange.
  • Telephone/Video Support.
  • Networking.

Certification Requirement: IAT II.
