Job Role: Cafe Team Lead

The role involves overseeing daily operations of a busy cafe, ensuring seamless service and presentation. It entails leading a team of food and beverage attendants to deliver high-quality customer experiences.

This leadership position collaborates with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve operational goals, develops a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and coordinates day-to-day activities for efficient service delivery.

  • Coordinates and oversees daily floor operations to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Liaises closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve operational targets and service excellence.
  • Cultivates extensive product knowledge to promote it effectively to customers.
  • Works in collaboration with the kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food presentation.
  • Mentors and trains team members to improve their performance.
Essential Requirements

To be successful in this leadership role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in supervisory positions within hospitality.
  • At least three years of experience working in restaurants, cafes, or hotels.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and leadership capabilities.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
